Surabaya–Upaya pelestarian seni lewat pendidikan dan budaya masyarakat diangkat dalam webinar sehari yang digelar FBS Universitas Negeri Surabaya dan Apebskid (Afiliasi Pengajar-Peneliti Budaya, Bahasa, Sastra, Komunikasi, Seni dan Desain) Jawa Timur (16/11). Webinar ini manifestasi kerjasama antara Unesa dan Apebskid Indonesia.
Webinar dibuka secara resmi oleh Wakil Rektor 1 UNESA, Prof. Dr. Madlazim, M.Si., yang menekankan pentingnya kerjasama tersebut. “Saya melihat kerjasama Unesa dan Apebskid—dalam implementasinya antara FBS Unesa dan Apebskid Jatim—akan menjadi forum akademik dan pemberdayaan yang produktif dan kondusif bagi perkembangan keilmuan dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang berbasis keilmuan,” ujar Madlazim.
“Tema yang diambil ini benar-benar mencerminkan scope (cakupan) keilmuan yang dikembangkan di FBS Unesa dan para peneliti/pengajar yang bernaung dalam Apebskid. Mudah-mudahan kegiatan webinar ini dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan—bahkan ditingkatkan dengan kegiatan-kegiatan lain,” imbuhnya.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua APEBSKID Jawa Timur, Dr. Much. Khoiri, M.Si., menyampaikan rasa syukur atas terselenggaranya webinar ini sebagai langkah awal mengintegrasikan seni, pendidikan, dan masyarakat. “Menyediakan ruang dialog keilmuan bagi dosen dan anggota Apebskid dengan masyarakat intelektual di dalam dan luar kampus dalam bidang-bidang budaya, bahasa, Sastra, komunikasi, seni, dan desain,” katanya.
Hal serupa disampaikan Ketua APEBSKID Indonesia, Dr. Hadirman, S.Pd., M.Hum., yang turut menyambut baik inisiatif Jawa Timur. “APEBSKID Indonesia mendukung penuh upaya pelestarian seni tradisional ini. Kami memandang penting kerjasam Apebskid Indonesia dengan Unesa, sebab bidang-bidang keilmuan Apebskid semua ada di Unesa. Harapan kami, kegiatan kolaboratif Unesa-Apebskid makin maju dan berkembang dari waktu ke waktu.,” tegasnya.
Acara webinar daring ini dihadiri oleh lebih dari 120 peserta dari kalangan akademisi, guru seni budaya, hingga pelaku seni tradisional mengikuti webinar ini. Diskusi interaktif memperlihatkan tingginya minat terhadap kolaborasi antara seni, pendidikan, dan teknologi.
Webinar menghadirkan tiga narasumber utama yang berbagi pandangan dari perspektif pendidikan seni dan budaya, yaitu, Prof. Dr. Elindra Yetti, M.Pd. (Universitas Negeri Jakarta), Prof. Dr. Warih Handayaningrum, M.Pd. (Universitas Negeri Surabaya), dan Prof. Dr. Anik Juwariyah, M.Si. (Universitas Negeri Surabaya).
Prof. Dr. Elindra Yetti, M.Pd. (UNJ) membahas tentang pentingnya pendidikan tari dalam meningkatkan kepekaan estetika dan kesadaran budaya pada anak sejak usia dini. Menurutnya, tari sebagai medium pendidikan mampu mengembangkan kreativitas, regulasi diri, dan toleransi budaya melalui pendekatan multikultural.
Narasumber kedua, Prof. Dr. Warih Handayaningrum, M.Pd. (Unesa), menguraikan peran sanggar seni dalam pelestarian seni pertunjukan di Jawa Timur. Ia menyoroti bagaimana sanggar-sanggar seni seperti di Malang, Bangkalan, dan Ponorogo menjadi pusat pewarisan budaya melalui revitalisasi tradisi dan adaptasi digital.
Sementara itu, narasumber ketiga, Prof. Dr. Anik Juwariyah, M.Si. (Unesa) mengangkat tradisi seperti tari Tayub sebagai simbol kesuburan dan kekuatan kolektif budaya agraris. Ia menekankan pentingnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk handarbeni (memiliki rasa kepemilikan) terhadap seni tradisi sebagai bagian dari identitas lokal.
Webinar ini menandai awal yang menjanjikan bagi pengembangan seni dan budaya di Jawa Timur, sekaligus membuka ruang diskusi untuk memperkuat seni tradisional sebagai bagian tak terpisahkan dari pendidikan dan kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia.
