Sobat literasi, inilah di antara puluhan buku yang telah saya susun, ada lima buku yang khusus membahas tentang “teori” menulis. Jika Sobat literasi membaca lima buku itu, Anda bisa menikmati bahasan tentang pentingnya menulis, motivasi, teknik, hingga penerbitan dan pemasaran tulisan atau buku.
Buku-buku itu saya susun tidak dalam satu waktu, melainkan dalam rentang enam tahun—karena, penulisan masing-masing buku mengalir berdasarkan pada pengalaman saya sendiri sebagai penulis; serta pemahaman saya tentang teori menulis yang telah menyatu dalam diri saya selama ini.
Buku pertama, Rahasia Top Menulis, diterbitkan oleh Elex Media Komputindo, Jakarta, pada tahun 2014. Buku yang dipengantari oleh Kang Pepih Nugraha, manajer Kompasiana kala itu, berisi tiga bagian—1) pentingnya penegasan alasan menulis, 2) ajakan menulis yang paling diketahui, dan 3) berbagai rahasia top menulis.

Buku kedua, Pagi Pegawai Petang Pengarang, diterbitkan oleh Genius Media, Malang, tahun 2015. Ia diberi pengantar oleh Dr. M. Mufti Mubarok, M.Si, penulis mega best-seller dan peraih rekor MURI. Buku ini terdiri atas 4 bab: 1) memahami makna pegawai pengarang, 2) dari menulis ke publikasi, 3) menulis buku sendiri, dan 4) menjual buku merajut jejaring.
Sobat literasi, buku ketiga, Write or Die: Jangan Mati Sebelum Menulis Buku, diterbitkan oleh Pagan Press Lamongan pada tahun 2017. Buku ini memiliki 5 bab yang enak diikuti: 1) alasan ‘menulis atau mati’, 2) apa yang perlu ditulis, 3) keajaiban ‘menulis atau mati’, 4) menulis dari kata pertama, dan 5) ayo menulis setiap hari.
Lalu, keempat adalah buku Writing Is Selling. Ia diterbitkan dalam bahasa Indonesia oleh Pagan Press Lamongan pada tahun 2018. Ada lima bagian dalam buku ini: 1) menata mindset, 2) menjaga spirit, 3) menjaring inspirasi, 4) berkarya setiap hari, dan 5) menuju writerpreneur.
Kelima, buku SOS: Sapa Ora Sibuk, Menulis dalam Kesibukan, edisi pertama diterbitkan oleh Unesa University Press Surabaya tahun 2016, dan edisi revisi diterbitkan oleh penerbit Tankali Sidoarjo tahun 2020. Buku yang dipengantari oleh Dr. Djuli Djatiprambudi, M.Sn ini mengupas tentang 1) hakikat menulis, 2) pentingnya menyiasati kesibukan, dan 3) tujuh belas strategi menulis dalam kesibukan.
Sobat literasi, kelima buku teori menulis tersebut memiliki kisahnya masing-masing, ada yang terkait penulisannya, penerbitan, pemasaran, maupun dampaknya. Itulah yang ingin saya bagikan ke Sobat literasi, mungkin ada hikmah atau inspirasinya. Nah, saya akan mengupas tuntas kisah di balik buku-buku tersebut secara berurutan pada tayangan selanjutnya.
