HARI-hari ini saya benar-benar sibuk seakan hampir tak sempat bernafas—guna memaksudkan bahwa kesibukan saya berada di atas ambang batas kemampuan saya untuk menuntaskannya. Tugas saya hanya menjalaninya dengan ikhlas. Kalau tidak kuat, ya istirahat, bukan masanya lagi untuk memforsir diri seperti saat masih muda dulu.
Nah, dalam ruang kesibukan yang cukup menekan itu, ada dua buku yang menyelinap. Kehadirannya, memang, tidak sekaligus dalam waktu bersamaan. Sebagaimana kronologi kejadian, buku itu hadir bergantian, satu judul diikuti oleh judul yang lain. Saya tidak mampu mengatur kehadirannya, sebab pengirimnya juga bukan orang yang sama. Bagaimana saya bisa mengendalikan—apalagi menyamairamakan—dua sumber kekuatan yang berbeda?

Sekarang bayangkan, bagaimana reaksi seorang penulis buku yang mendapat kiriman buku—dua buku—di rentang waktu penuh kesibukan? Ibarat pengembara yang haus di bawah terik matahari, lalu mendapat pemberian air yang menyegarkan, saya selaku penulis pastilah kegirangan, berucap syukur sedalam-dalamnya, sembari berdoa agar si pengirim buku memperoleh limpahan berkah kesehatan, kebaikan, dan kebahagiaan.
Buku pertama datang dari penulis RVL yang memenangi 10 terbaik seleksi penulis fiksi se-Jawa Timur pada tahun 2022. Dialah Tri Wulaning Purnami, salah satu warga RVL yang suka menulis pantun dan cerita pendek. Kali ini buku yang dia kuratori dan editori berjudul Pantun Kopdar 2 RVL Yogyakarta: Kumpulan Pantun 22 Penulis (2023). Sesuai judulnya, buku ini berisi kumpulan pantun karya 22 penulis RVL tentang kopi darat kedua pada Juni 2023 silam.
Mengapa saya menerima buku pantun itu? Salah satu faktornya adalah bahwa saya duduk sebagai founder RVL, sementara buku pantun itu berkisah tentang kopdar RVL, yang dikuratori/dieditori oleh warga RVL. Dengan begitu, kiranya sudah tepat buku itu juga diberikan kepada saya—setidaknya bisa saya baca dan koleksi untuk perpustakaan RVL di rumah saya.
Di samping faktor itu, ada faktor lain, yakni bahwa saya telah memberikan Kata Pengantar untuk buku itu. Judul kata pengantar yang saya berikan berjudul “Lewat Pantun Mengikat Momentum” (yang artikelnya telah tayang di website saya. Jika Anda ingin mencermatinya, jangan lupa untuk segera mendapatkan buku ini dari kurator/editor. Tahu nomor WA-nya? Jika belum, saya akan menjapri Anda.
Buku kedua yang saya maksudkan adalah buku karya Abah Hariyanto yang berjudul Menulis Puisi 2.0: Belajar dari Sang Penggagas (2023). (Panggilan Abah saya sematkan setelah beliau menunaikan ibadah haji tahun 2023 lalu.) Kedatangan buku ini menyusul pesan dari penulisnya: “Assalamu’alaikum. Abah, buku Menulis Puisi 2.0 sudah saya kirimkan 2 hari lalu. Semoga sudah sampai. Semoga bermanfaat. Mohon masukannya agar bisa diperbaiki di edisi berikutnya. Terima kasih. Wassalam.”

Sebagaimana Bu Wulan—sapaan akrab Tri Wulaning Purnami, Abah Hariyanto juga warga RVL. Mereka hanya beda tempat tinggal, satunya pendidik dari Surabaya dan satunya lagi pendidik dari Blitar. Buku yang dikirimkan kepada saya, tentu, bukanlah buku pertamanya. Ada beberapa buku solo lainnya yang telah dihasilkan selama berproses kreatif—di samping ada buku antologi bersama penulis lain.
Saya tidak memberikan Kata Pengantar atau endorsement untuk buku Puisi 2.0 ini. Akan tetapi, nama saya disebut di dalam Prakata karena telah memberikan kesempatan kepadanya untuk berbagi lewat pelatihan menulis secara daring tentang Puisi 2.0. Nama saya disebut kembali pada “Bab 13: Materi Puisi 2.0 itu Memudahkan.” Tujuannya sama, untuk memberikan apresiasi.
Untuk sementara ini, sayangnya, saya belum bisa menikmati kedua buku yang menarik tersebut. Satu tentang pantun—sebuah genre puisi lama, lainnya tentang Puisi 2.0—sebuah genre puisi yang akhir-akhir ini mulai menarik sejumlah kalangan penulis puisi, sebagaimana penulis prosa makin tertarik menulis pentigraf. Ini masalah prioritas, mana yang perlu didahulukan dan mana yang disusulkan.
Saya berharap tumpukan kesibukan ini segera terurai, sehingga saya memiliki waktu cukup longgar untuk menikmati kedua buku tersebut. Saya akan mencoba membaca, membuat catatan, atau bahkan membuat resensi tentang keduanya. Atau, setidaknya, saya bisa memberikan kritik dan saran untuk penyempurnaan kedua buku di masa depan. Sebab, sekilas saya jelajahi, saya temukan ada sesuatu yang perlu saya sampaikan kepada kedua penulis.
Pada senja ini, kedua buku melirik-lirik saya dari meja kecil di samping meja kerja saya. Mereka seakan berteriak untuk segera dicermati. Namun, saya masih ada kesibukan yang lebih urgen. Sebab itulah saya sampaikan permohonan maaf kepada mereka. Mereka menghela nafas, sambil menyunggingkan senyum tipis.[]
