XENTUNER, KENANGAN YANG AKAN DIBUKUKAN

XENTUNER kini memang tinggal kenangan, karena ia berada dalam dekapan dan kumparan kisah orang lain yang memilikinya. Saya terpaksa melepasnya pada 12 Maret 2022 kemarin. Ya, dua bulan lebih serasa kemarin! Sebab, ia pergi meninggalkan kenangan. Namun ‘Xenia Rasa Fortuner’ itu bukan sekadar kenangan, melainkan kenangan yang bakal dibukukan. Bagaimana ceritanya kok si light blue itu dipandang layak untuk dibukukan?

Ada aneka kisah yang saya peroleh selama 10 (sepuluh) tahun si light blue bersama saya, yakni rentang waktu ia menjadi “rekan kerja” saya menggerakkan literasi ke berbagai daerah (terutama) di Jawa Timur. Benar-benar pelangi kisah yang teramat sayang jika tidak dituliskan. Mengapa saya batasi Jawa Timur? Sebab, di luar Jawa Timur, saya tidak mengajak ia menempuh jarak panjang menuju lokasi kegiatan. Jika saya ke luar provinsi atau luar Jawa, saya hanya minta ia membawa saya ke bandara atau stasiun kereta api serta menunggu saya hingga saya pulang bertugas.

Sebagai rekan kerja selama 10 tahun, Xentuner seakan bernyawa, bahkan seakan mengerti pikiran-perasaan saya dan berbagi suka-duka dengan saya, melintasi jalan-jalan dengan tingkat kemulusan yang berbeda, menyusuri terangnya siang dan gelapnya malam, menembus hujan atau menghalau kabut.

Entah berapa manusia yang telah ia sapa dalam kebisuan, entah berapa peristiwa yang telah ia saksikan. Singkatnya, ia hanya ikhlas menjadi rekan kerja yang patuh dan setia. Bahkan kalau ia sempat rewel, saya (pernah) memarahinya lewat kata-kata. Karena itu, tatkala saya melepasnya pada 12 Maret itu, ada semacam dorongan untuk memeluknya, dan tak terasa ada buliran-buliran air mata meleleh di pipi saya. Andaikata ada yang memvideokan, pastilah saya akan tersipu malu.

Bagi saya sendiri, Xentuner terasa begitu akrab, selama 10 tahun, bayangkan! Keakraban saya dengannya lebih terdahulu dari pada kehadiran namanya—sebuah nama yang menggoda pikiran saya setelah mengikuti kopdar Sahabat Pena Nusantara di Ponpes Darul Istikomah, Pekuniran, Bondowoso, yang seputar waktu itu saya menumpang mobil Fortuner teman. Jadi, setiap kali saya naik Xenia saya, saya melambari hati saya seakan naik Fortuner; karena itu, Xenia sensasi Fortuner saya itu saya namakan Xentuner!

Nah, dalam waktu 10 tahun itu, ada kisah-kisah menarik dan menakjubkan tatkala saya menjalani kegiatan-kegiatan literasi yang beraneka ragam—yang kerap tanpa saya rencanakan (karena saya kebanyakan memenuhi undangan berbagai Lembaga dan panitia), dalam ranah sekolah (dalam Gerakan Literasi Sekolah), ranah masyarakat atau komunitas (Gerakan Literasi Masyarakat), dan ranah keluarga (Gerakan Literasi Keluarga). Agaknya hanya literasi ranah terakhirlah yang paling sedikit surat undangannya.

Untuk setiap kegiatan literasi, dalam tiga ranah itu, jangan khawatir akan bukti-buktinya. Semuanya, insyaallah, ada dan lengkap. Tatkala mengisi kegiatan literasi di GOR Jember, dengan peserta sekitar 2000 guru, ada dokumentasinya. Tatkala ada festival literasi nasional di Bangka Belitung yang mentandemkan saya dengan Gol A Gong sebagai dewan juri, juga ada foto-fotonya. Demikian pula kegiatan literasi di perpusda Surabaya, serta kegiatan literasi dalam keluarga—termasuk membangun perpustakaan keluarga.

Untuk kepentingan menyusun buku, saya telah memilah dan menata puluhan kegiatan untuk masing-masing ranah literasi. Payung temanya, tentu, Xentuner dan Literasi, yang disusun sebagai buku serial. Karena ada tiga ranah gerakan literasi dalam naungan gerakan literasi nasional, saya juga merancang buku serial itu dengan tiga judul (meski belum 100 persen fixed). Apa saja judulnya? Tunggu saja tanggal penerbitannya. Pasti akan saya kabari!

Tentu saja, saya berharap bahwa proyek penulisan buku berdasarkan kenangan saya bersama Xentuner akan segera menjadi kenyataan. Ibaratnya, utang saya terbayar lunas saat itu nanti. Alangkah bahagianya hati ini ketika impian itu hadir tepat di depan mata. Mengapa bahagia? Tentu saja, saya mengabadikan kenangan bersama Xentuner dalam buku yang akan dinikmati oleh pembaca saya dari seluruh penjuru negeri.

Yang lebih penting lagi, saya ingin mengatakan sebuah pesan bahwa ide menulis bisa diambil dari mana saja, termasuk kenangan bersama kendaraan pribadi. Detailnya adalah pengalaman dan peristiwa yang terjadi. Sangat dekat dengan diri sendiri, bukan? Begitulah, kuncinya adalah mari menulis sesuatu tema yang paling kita ketahui dan kuasai.[]
