Inilah desa yang kini disebut ‘desa miliarder’ karena uang bermiliar berada dan beredar di sana. Desa itu Sumurgeneng dan dua desa terdekat di kecamatan Jenu, Tuban, Jawa Timur, dan uang besar itu ganti untung (bukan ganti rugi) pembebasan lahan oleh PT Pertamina untuk Grass Root Refinery (GRR) Tuban. Kabarnya, ratusan miliar rupiah dibayarkan ke warga yang lahannya dibebaskan. Bukan mendadak dangdut, tapi mendadak kaya!

Nah, ibaratnya, ada gula ada semut. Warga yang mayoritas petani dan peternak itu kini menjadi mangsa-mangsa empuk bagi “semut” perbankan, properti, gadget, sampai otomotif. Setiap hari pegawai-pegawai berdasi itu berseliweran di desa itu, tentu untuk menawarkan produk-produk mereka. Sebuah pemandangan absurd, sebenarnya. Orang-orang keren masuk desa! Tercatat, 180 mobil baru menghuni desa itu, kerap saling berpapasan di jalan satu sama lain. Mereka seakan sedang dimanja, begitu ceria dengan mainan baru mereka.
Pertanyaannya, setelah lahan mereka berpindah fungsi untuk proyek kilang minyak, bagaimana mereka menjalani hidup selanjutnya? Apakah mereka tetap sebagai petani dan peternak—tentu dengan membeli lahan di tempat lain; ataukah menjadi investor dalam bidang usaha produktif, ataukah mendepositokan sisa uangnya? Lalu, apakah yang terjadi pada mereka dalam lima hingga sepuluh tahun mendatang? Biarlah waktu yang bakal menjawabnya. Kini biarlah warga OKB itu menikmati mimpi indah—dan belum ingin terbangun dari mimpi itu.[]
